I decided to run because I really care about Irvine and believe this is an important time in the city's history. After watching Irvine grow over several decades and living in District 5 for nearly thirty years, I have seen firsthand both the tremendous successes that have made Irvine one of America's premier cities and the challenges we must address as we continue to grow.

I have listened to residents who feel their concerns are not always heard, who want greater transparency and accountability, and who want confidence that taxpayer dollars are being managed responsibly. I share those concerns.

Rather than simply talk about what I believe could be improved, I decided it was time to step forward and serve. I want to be an accessible, thoughtful, and independent voice who listens to residents, brings people together to solve problems, and works to ensure Irvine remains an exceptional place to live, not just for today, but for generations to come.
